What is Microblading?

Microblading is a permanent cometic makeup technique that can be used to create hair like stroke brows and can last about one year. Microblading refers to a method of tattooing eyebrows using a handheld device with tiny, ultra-fine needles, instead of a machine. This allows the pigment to be inserted into the upper layers of the skin in realistic looking hair strokes. By creating the illusion of hair strokes, you can achieve a really natural finish. It can also be used to create more ‘on-trend’ styles, fluffy brows, and achieve a fuller looking eyebrow.

How long does Microblading take to heal ?

Microblading can take up to 6 weeks to fully heal. The appointment consists of the  initial application, followed by a touch up service a few weeks later. Initially, the color will appear darker than you expected but don’t worry – it will start to fade within 3 – 4 days. It is normal for some areas of color not to hold as well as others, which is why you will need to attend a touch up appointment. You must always follow the detailed aftercare plan as provided by your technician.

What are Powder Brows?

Ombré eyebrows—also known as ombré powder eyebrows—refers to a semi-permanent method of shading the brow to perfect their shape, fill in sparse areas, and create a gradient, shaded effect using a machine. While Microblading involves hand-carving small lines into the skin to deposit semi-permanent dye to create defined, hair-like strokes, the ombré brows technique uses a machine to create pixelated dots that create a powder-like, shaded brow look that starts light at the front of your brows and transitions to being darker at the ends. The effects will be waterproof, smudge-proof and completely natural.  Rather than the crisp hair strokes that are often associated with Microblading. The result is a more defined, fuller brow, powder look, similar to the look you can achieve using cosmetic eyebrow powders or pencils.
